“Why do they call it wireless if guys working on the internet cut down all my hiding places to hang up a cable, I’m just saying?” / annoyed young Cooper’s Hawk photographed by the author

Mood is: Cooper’s Hawk would like to file a complaint.

First, we had a crew out working on the cables in the right-of-way behind the backyard fence. Then we had rain coming down in buckets.

By evening, a damp and bothered Cooper’s Hawk was ready to visit the feeder for an easy dinner. The empty feeder. Because nobody’s going to hang out when the Cooper’s Hawk is in town.
